SPINDERSOX IS NOT A JOKE!!!!
spindersox

I SEE WHATS GOING ON, SHITS GOT POLITICAL. THIS IS WHAT OBAMA HAD TO GO THROUGH. A NEW INSPIRING SUPERIOR THINKER COMES ON THE SCENE, AND RATHER THAN TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE, EVERYONE TRIES TO RIDICULE AND
SHUT
HIM
UP
!!!!!!

NOW, I'M NOT ACCUSSING JHUB (the leader of the old guard) OF POSTING THE LAST SPINDERSOX POST, BUT IT SEEMS STRANGE THAT JUST AS THE TIDE IS TURNING, AND PEOPLE ARE STARTING TO REALISE THAT KING SPINDY IS LEADING THE NEW BREED OF SUPER-DIRT PLAYERS IN, SOMEONE SHOULD POST AS "Spindersox" making MEEEE look like a tard.

I AM NOT A TARD!!!

HOW STRANGE, AS SOON AS A TOP-QUALITY PRO WITH THE SKY AS THE LIMIT OFFERS STAKING, SOMEONE POSTS PRETENDING TO BE SPINDERSOX AND ACTING LIKE AN IDIOT. NOW, I'M NOT ACCUSISING SPARTA45 OF BEING IN ON THIS, BUT I HAVE ASKED HIM ON STARS TO TAKE IT DOWN, THROUGH MYSELF AND MY HoMiez-4-LiFe, AND HE HASN'T. I wonder how many of jhub's stakees were thinking of moving to Spindy's team before the impersonating began.

SO THIS IS A MESSAGE TO SPARTA, JHUB, MD261, LUCEBOY, if you pretend to be Spindersox (again?) I will sue for damages lost to my growing staking empire!!!!!

Remember guys, staking is offered, don't be the rat left on the sinking ship, if you want to guarantee future $$$ Spindersox is the ONLY way forward.

SPINDY! SPINDY! SPINDY! SPINDY!

WANNABES AND HAS-BEENS
spindersox
[info]spindersox
SpindAsoxxxxx in Da House,

I decided to help out some fish out there by posting on Sparta45's

 blog http://sparta45.livejournal.com/24799.html

I got supported by the next poster, a knowledgeable player called "ignorant wannabe", and then who should show up but Jhub3000. Now many of you will know the name, he's a medium-stakes grinder who had a couple of good years a few years back. But last year he LOST $$$, while Ol' Spindy made himself enough to buy a tub of Ice-Cream everyday and MORE!!!

There are alot of players out there who are so used to being able to grind away and make $$$ and they all come crying to Spindy sayin:

"OH SPINDERSOX, the games are so tough, why don't you table select so I can have  a chance to win $$$", or "Why would a Top-Notch pro like your fine-self  want to play with a break-even shark like me?"

What these players don't get is that the reason they don't win money anymore is because they can't adapt, I smell out weaknesses and exploit them like a Nazi, I see someone fold once, I know they can fold again. You just need to know how to take advatage of these HAS-BEENS...Spindy-Style.

You need further proof of Spindersox's Prowess?!?!?!?!?

If you look at the head-to-head of spindersox against 2 high stakes pro's "icecoldrivA" and "nemmad" you'll see that their ROI% is terrible while The Spindersox is flyin' high baby!!
Below is a hand which shows the adjustments you need to make to play one of these so called *Proffesionalls*

Seat 1: Doudou11 (400 in chips)
Seat 2: nemmad (5200 in chips)
Seat 3: Spindersox (2400 in chips)
nemmad: posts small blind 100
Spindersox: posts big blind 200
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Spindersox [7h 2d]
Doudou11: folds
nemmad: raises 300 to 500
Spindersox: calls 300
*** FLOP *** [Ah 4d Qd]
nemmad: bets 500
Spindersox: calls 500
*** TURN *** [Ah 4d Qd] [3d]
nemmad: bets 600
Spindersox: raises 600 to 1200
nemmad: folds
Uncalled bet (600) returned to Spindersox

Here is a prime example, I know nemmad, being the tight predictable player he is, is going to try and push King Spindersox about. I call before the flop with Position (another thing most regulars don't understand), on the flop I decide to slowplay my straightdraw and flushdraw. I know nemmad is just trying a move so there is no chance he has an Ace. Then he bets the turn and BAM, he gets the BAD NEWS! He's walked right into El Spindolo's trap, with an even stronger straightdraw and flushdraw I raise it up! But just to seem Super-Duper Strong, I don't go all-in, now nemmad is thinking to himself "Spindersox is a top-quality player and a total G, why would he just min raise it on the bubble unless he has a set or a straight", and he has to fold. Congratulations Spindersox!!!

Sparta is right when he says a cloud of arrogance hangs over the SnG world, but it is the old-guard like Sparta45 and Jhub3000, players who used to be top-dog but have now been domesticated by Spindersox who are arrogant. If they could take a step back and realise how the new wave of incredible players (being led of course by myself) are dominating the tables, they would push their ego's aside and ask Spindersox for a Coaching/Staking deal!

If you are interested in attempting to learn some of the wise wise wisdom of King Spindersox leave a request for staking/coaching in the comments thread. I supply half of the bankroll (up to $40) and take a 90% cut of all profits (+fees). You get two 10 minute phone calls a week and an hour of me watching and criticising your play, a process I call "Sweating".

I'd like to see how any of the old guard could argue with the cold hard facts.

It's idiots like these who every poker player HATES!  IDIOTS who call raises with TWO'S!!!!!
I've calmed myself down by reminding myself that FISH like these LOOSE MONEY in the long run while I'll be HOLIDAYING on the beaches of SWITZERLAND!

I sharscoped one of the FISH and he's actually made money!?!?! which reassures me that I will easily be able to crush these tables once variance works itselff out.

Afterwards I went to Pizza HUt and spent all day there eating Buffet.

My first session playing poker professionally
spindersox
[info]spindersox
Good morning chums,

So as you may know (and been afraid of) if you've read my previous posts, I've gone pro now! Unfortunately my first pro session was not exactly what I had hoped for, I lost the first 3 games I played!!!! I was so upset that I sat out of the other table I was multitabling (It's harder than it looks), and called up my mentor Valentin on the verge of tears...He calmed me down and told me about variance, which basically means you can go on a run of 3, 10 or even 20 games without winning $$$ and it doesn't mean you have lost it as a top-Notch pro. Feeling re-energized and re-confidant I sat back in on my table only to realise I had already lost most of my chips sitting out. After calling an Under-the-Gun raise with 2's and busting out, all my positive energy left me and unholy thoughts entered my head.

I was in a whole world of confusion and decided to play the higher stakes to make back the money I'd lost. For those of you who don't know much about poker, the only way to beat the high-stakes is to sit tighter than everyone else, High-Stakes poker is all about folding. I folded my way to 3 bubbles in the Big game ( $30 6-max on UltimateBet) and had to eat a whole tub of Haagen-Daz to calm me down, mmmmmmm, I love Cookies 'n' cream, who's with me on that?

So day one didn't go how I hoped. I played a whole bunch of games but due to variance didn't cash in one, overall -:

4 $20 games, 0 cashes, -$80
3 $30 games, 3 bubbles :( -$90

Overall -$170

This has unfortunately left me with only $300 in my bankroll, when you need at least $350 to play the High-Stakes games like me. Thankfully,  my mother  has agreed to lend me$50, so Spindersox is back in business Baby!!!!

The story so far...
spindersox
[info]spindersox
Hey peeps,

If you're wondering why you havent seen ol' Spindy at the tables much (lucky you!), ive been celebrating the end of my university life.  I want to see my friends before they go off to Australia travelling for a month, i would have loved to have gone but they booked tickets when i wasnt there and by the time it came up in conversation it was too late, thats life : )  I think its a blessing in disguise because it frees up my schedule for the upcoming star trek convention, which because of the new STAR TREK film promises to be bigger and badder than ever before, rumours say that Eddie Paskey (aka Lieutenant Leslie) may make an appearance!!!!!

Now let me turn down the excitement-o-meter and get back to poker.  If some readers have seen my sharkscope statistics then they will know that i crush every game that i play.   Jhub3000, the KING of online poker only has an ROI of 6% and when your ROI is over double that of the best player out there, then you know that you're doing something right!!  Its fortunate for Jhub that i dont have the bankroll to play his stakes and take him on, but hopefully by the end of this year KING SPINDERSOX will be crowned!!

Lets shuffle up and deal!!!!

My First Day of Blogging!!!!
spindersox
[info]spindersox
Hi guys and girls,

Spindersox here,  I have just finished a degree at Cambrige University, England (whew it was hard work!).  I studied theology there for 3 years, but I didn't just learn about the word of our Lord. Before I knew any beter I'd found myself involved in a crowd of Young-Gun poker Afficianados. In those 3 years I learnt all there is to know about poker, and having honed my skills over dozens of games I am now preparing to take on the poker world and make my fortune.

I will be posting regular updates on my results as well as my thoughts on being a poker professional or "Grinder" as the fellows say on the table. I play the 6-Man Single Table Tournaments on Pokerstars at the $25 buy-in mainly. Our Father has blessed me with quick reflexes and a razor-sharp mind which I use to play up to 4-tables at one time!!!!!!!  :o

I will post my poker aims, goals and acheivements as well as my results up to this point later on, but before that I feel I should share MY dreams and aspirations, AWAY from the poker table!  My one true passion is Interactive History; a re-enactmeent of a famous battle, that's interactive history, Braveheart, that's Interactive History. My dream is to make a perfect model of the Battle of Gettysburg as my Great-Great-grandfather, the illustrious Private Bobby-Jo Wilbanks was part of the heroic clash and if history had followed another course, would have gone on to be a great general. By recreating this scene, I can make him pround from where he is watching....
