SpindAsoxxxxx in Da House,
I decided to help out some fish out there by posting on Sparta45's
blog
http://sparta45.livejournal.com/24799.html I got supported by the next poster, a knowledgeable player called "ignorant wannabe", and then who should show up but Jhub3000. Now many of you will know the name, he's a medium-stakes grinder who had a couple of good years a few years back. But last year he LOST $$$, while Ol' Spindy made himself enough to buy a tub of Ice-Cream everyday and MORE!!!
There are alot of players out there who are so used to being able to grind away and make $$$ and they all come crying to Spindy sayin:
"OH SPINDERSOX, the games are so tough, why don't you table select so I can have a chance to win $$$", or "Why would a Top-Notch pro like your fine-self want to play with a break-even shark like me?"
What these players don't get is that the reason they don't win money anymore is because they can't adapt, I smell out weaknesses and exploit them like a Nazi, I see someone fold once, I know they can fold again. You just need to know how to take advatage of these HAS-BEENS...Spindy-Style.
You need further proof of Spindersox's Prowess?!?!?!?!?
If you look at the head-to-head of spindersox against 2 high stakes pro's "icecoldrivA" and "nemmad" you'll see that their ROI% is terrible while The Spindersox is flyin' high baby!!
Below is a hand which shows the adjustments you need to make to play one of these so called *Proffesionalls*
Seat 1: Doudou11 (400 in chips)
Seat 2: nemmad (5200 in chips)
Seat 3: Spindersox (2400 in chips)
nemmad: posts small blind 100
Spindersox: posts big blind 200
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Spindersox [7h 2d]
Doudou11: folds
nemmad: raises 300 to 500
Spindersox: calls 300
*** FLOP *** [Ah 4d Qd]
nemmad: bets 500
Spindersox: calls 500
*** TURN *** [Ah 4d Qd] [3d]
nemmad: bets 600
Spindersox: raises 600 to 1200
nemmad: folds
Uncalled bet (600) returned to Spindersox
Here is a prime example, I know nemmad, being the tight predictable player he is, is going to try and push King Spindersox about. I call before the flop with Position (another thing most regulars don't understand), on the flop I decide to slowplay my straightdraw and flushdraw. I know nemmad is just trying a move so there is no chance he has an Ace. Then he bets the turn and BAM, he gets the BAD NEWS! He's walked right into El Spindolo's trap, with an even stronger straightdraw and flushdraw I raise it up! But just to seem Super-Duper Strong, I don't go all-in, now nemmad is thinking to himself "Spindersox is a top-quality player and a total G, why would he just min raise it on the bubble unless he has a set or a straight", and he has to fold. Congratulations Spindersox!!!
Sparta is right when he says a cloud of arrogance hangs over the SnG world, but it is the old-guard like Sparta45 and Jhub3000, players who used to be top-dog but have now been domesticated by Spindersox who are arrogant. If they could take a step back and realise how the new wave of incredible players (being led of course by myself) are dominating the tables, they would push their ego's aside and ask Spindersox for a Coaching/Staking deal!
If you are interested in attempting to learn some of the wise wise wisdom of King Spindersox leave a request for staking/coaching in the comments thread. I supply half of the bankroll (up to $40) and take a 90% cut of all profits (+fees). You get two 10 minute phone calls a week and an hour of me watching and criticising your play, a process I call "Sweating".
I'd like to see how any of the old guard could argue with the cold hard facts.
